This is a quick start guide that walks you through making a tabletop RPG that fits your  particular kid's interests, skill level, and boundaries!

It is intended to help you:

  • Create a comfortable game for everyone
  • Provide a clear method to pause the game if it gets overwhelming
  • Come up with a theme and characters that your kid connects with
  • Build a meaningful player character with your kid
  • Adjust mechanics to your kid’s level
  • Create your own rules-lite mechanics
  • Get ideas for extra elements to bring into the game
  • Enjoy your game together!

The files here include both a one-page sheet (so it's all just on one single page) and a full document (with some extra detail and larger writing spaces) to fit your gaming needs.  Both are form fillable or designed to print and write on easily.  I walk through each step so you have a clear process for making something special for your kid without having to guess at what to do next or worrying that you've forgotten something.

Everything you need is included in this document, but I also have a guided walkthrough along with more tips and tricks on my site, TTRPGkids.com!

Check out the files below, and enjoy the games you create together!

Looking forward to trying this later!

Note: the "one page - printer friendly" file is missing the last word of the title.

Glad you're trying it out!  I hope it helps!

And thank you for letting me know about the missing word - looks like the header box wrapped to the next line.  It's updated if you want to re-download!
